I love to Watch the Clouds
When I was a kid, I often watched the clouds with my mother and tried to see animals or other characters. Some things never change, I still love to watch the clouds...

Evening Sky
I'm back from a 10 day vacation. Although I had intended to publish a daily photo, in the end I didn't make it... But now everything is back to normal. Guess how I spent my first evening back in town? I took a walk along the Old Danube and enjoyed the view of this dramatic looking sky.

Beautiful Sky
Yesterday afternoon I briefly left the office to get a late lunch and saw this beautiful sky over the Haas Haus and St. Stephen's Cathedral. A nice change to the recent greyness.

The Sky is The Limit
The past two weeks the weather wasn't very nice, but I hope to see a similar sky (this photo was taken at the beginning of August) very soon. My holidays are drawing to a close and, back to work, I will first and foremost see the ceiling of the office if I look up...

Before the Storm
Some weeks ago I wanted to make my usual bicycle tour in the evening, but then I saw a storm coming up and decided to better go back home.

Sunset Obession #3
Last summer I got obsessed with sunsets... I usually return from my bicycle tours on the Danube Island at sunset and I stop to take a photo when I cross the Danube.

Sunset Over The City Center
Last summer I developed a certain obsession for sunsets (see here, here, here and here). Recently I happened to a see the sun setting over the city center when I crossed the Danube Canal and couldn't help taking a photograph. Admittedly, the sky was much brighter in reality...

January Theme Day: Photo of the Year
As I didn't take any spectacular photo last year, it was hard to choose the "photo of the year", but I finally opted for this sunset because it was one of the first of many sunset photos that I took last summer (I was literally obsessed with sunsets) and it reminds me of the bicycle tours that I use to take on summer evenings.

Sunset - Last Saturday
I took this photo last Saturday, on my way home after my usual summer bicycle tour on the Danube Island. In the background
you can see the hills of the Wienerwald (Vienna Woods) the building on the right is the Millennium Tower.

Last Sunset in 2012
Instead of going to the "New Year´s Path", the party zone in the city center (where entertainment started already at 2 p.m.), I prefered to take a walk in the calm outskirts. There I happened to see the last sunset in 2012.

The Moon Over The Stadium
When I was at the "Parkfair" two weeks ago, I didn´t only take a look at the artworks on show but also enjoyed the nocturnal view from the parking deck. The Ernst Happel stadium was built between 1929 and 1931 and originally was named Prater stadium. In 1992 it was renamed in honour of Ernst Happel (1925-1992), an Austrian football player and coach.
