Baby Elephant
Here's the baby elephant again... The sign at the door of a shop reminds the clients to wear masks and keep a distance of 1m. I don't quite get which kind of animal sits on the elephant's trunk...

Distance Marks - the Austrian Way
The Austrian government did an advertising campaign on tv to "promote" the necessary distance of at least 1m to people in shops and public space. In this spot a girl describes the dimension of the distance as "as large as a baby elephant" so that really everybody gets it. A Teddy Bear in the Subway
Last Saturday afternoon in the subway: a girl and her teddy bear.... I was wondering if she just received him as a gift or if she was on her way to present him to someone. Either way, he seemed to like the ride...

All You Need is...
I discovered this "wisdom" in front of a café. Do you agree? As for me, I need tea and love... and some other things...

Red Caps
I was taking a picture when a man asked me, two ladies and a man to pose for him. We caught his eyes with our red caps/hats/hair. He also took a photo with my camera and I like it a lot.

Cold Beer
An interesting way of advertising ;-) I would love to know how many people enter the pub because of this promise...

Italian Luxury Cars Only...
I discovered this sign on a garage door of a villa in the 19th district during my last Sunday afternoon walk. People who live there might be able afford a Maserati, but there was no one in sight...

Do you have any New Year's resolutions? And if you have some, do you usually realize them or can you relate to this sign?

Déja Vu
Did you miss me? I was on vacation and didn't have the time to publish photos here. But now I'm back, and we start with this orange bull that I discovered four years ago. During my last walk in the 18th district I noticed that he is still there. I still have no idea why he was put on the balcony...

Dragon Bicycle
Amongst the 7.000 people who took part in Sunday's bicycle parade I discovered these young men with their eye-catching dragon bicycle.

Batman & Poison Ivy
What an honor! Batman and Poison Ivy left Gotham City to take part in the bicycle parade on Sunday. Don't they look good on their bicycles?

Is he an advance-guard of more friendly aliens who live in Vienna's canal system? I will keep you posted...

Put Your Wool Hat on
Somebody was worried that the "The Young Athlete", a bronze statue in Volksgarten might have cold and gave him a wool hat. Very thoughtful!

Caution! Waiters Crossing!
I guess this is a sign that you don't see everywhere. It's located in front of this tavern, alongside the Eastern banks of the Old Danube. The waiters have to cross an alley to serve the guests on the terrace by the water.

How to be Cool
As I can't afford Prada (not even during the sale season), I will have to focus on point nr. 1)... What is your definition of "being cool"?

Question of Taste
Eyecatching stockings in the window of a menswear shop in the city center... I would love to meet someone who is really wearing these...
