Calle Libre #2
And that's how the mural by Stinkfish looked like two days later. It's not the first time that he worked in Vienna as you can see here, here, here and here.

Calle Libre #1
Last week Vienna hosted for the third time the "Calle Libre - Festival for Urban Aesthetics" : Eight street artists were invited to create murals in public spaces mostly in the 6th and 7th district. I think this is a really great idea to promote street art and to bring some colour to "boring" walls. In this photo you can see the Mexican born artist "Stinkfish"
working on a mural.

Colourful Portrait
The Colombian street artist Stinkfish takes pictures of random people, who are not always aware he is taking a picture. In his murals he then combines the portraits with psychedelic themes and elements. I have already discovered several of his works in Vienna: here, here and here.

A Face on The Wall
Another week, another piece of street art: This time I discovered it in the 6th district. It's by Mexican born graffiti artist Stinkfish, whose works you have already seen here and here.

Graffito Girl
Some time ago I showed you a first photo of the project "Central Art Station": The Austrian Federal Railways asked some street artists to spray their works onto the temporary walls that cover the construction area at the new central railway station. Here's another work by Mexican born graffiti artist Stinkfish, located in the service hall.

Central Art Station
How to make the covers of a construction area more beautiful? By asking street artists to spray their works onto the temporary walls as did the Austrian Federal Railways. The project is called "Central Art Station". The work in this photo was created by Mexican born graffiti artist Stinkfish and graces the foyer of the new central railway station until the end of May.
