Yellow Man

This yellow man is Austrian opera singer, actor and playwright Johann Nestroy (1801-1862). Click here for a photo of this statue during the day.

    As an opera buff and stamp collector (he has appeared on at leat one Austrian stamp) I recognised the name straight away. Nice to see him commorated!
