The construction of the modern Viertel Zwei quarter in the 2nd district started in 2007. By now the buildings adjoin the Krieau Horse Racing Track.

Offices with balconies in the "Viertel Zwei" area in the 2nd district. I'm not sure if I would love to work in one of the offices. It must be hard to sit at your desk on a sunny day if there's a balcony where you could enjoy the good weather...

Office Buildings

Office buildings in the "Viertel Zwei" area, a new quarter in the 2nd district, constructed in 2009/2010. I love this spot because whenever I go there it's very quiet. The offices on this side of the buildings are overlooking the horse racing track Krieau.

There is a lot of construction activity going on in the 2nd district. One of the new quarters is "Viertel Zwei", consisting of several office buildings, a hotel and a residential building. The concept of this new area envisions explicitly a working environment where people love to work. The building on the left hand side houses the Austrian mineral oil authority.
