Gallery Opening

Yesterday I was at the opening party of "OstLicht", a gallery for contemporary photography situated in the former Anker Bread Factory in the 10th district. With a publicly accessible library, a bookshop and a bar, "OstLicht" aims for being a meeting place for photography aficionados. On the same site you can also find some other cultural institutions and the better part of the former factory is currently being converted into lofts - the premises mostly still look like a construction area. I like this kind of atmosphere.

Photographs

I spotted these beautiful photographs some days ago in a photo gallery in the Nouvel Tower. The gallery offers a huge variety of works from established photographers, newcomers and historical archives in hand-signed limited editions. I would love to buy all of these photographs!

Private view

Here´s a glimpse of yesterday´s private view of the Michel Comte exhibition in a photo gallery in the city center. The gallery was really crowded, amongst the guests there has been of course a number of local celebrities.

New exhibition in town

Tonight the first extensive exhibition in Austria of Swiss fashion and celebrity photographer Michel Comte will be inaugurated in a rather new photo gallery in the first district. And I will be there! I´m very much looking forward to this event!
