Deserted #1

I know, a lot of countries currently have a curfew or at least exit restrictions, but when I took a short walk in the city center yesterday, the deserted streets (in this photo: Kohlmarkt where you can find a lot of luxury shops) really made an impact on me. I'm usually working in the very city center and used to seeing it crowded with people...

Christmas Illuminations #1

The merchants of the Viennese shopping streets have to pay the Christmas illuminations in large part by themselves, that's why the lights show great variety. On Kohlmarkt in the city center you can currently walk under a beautiful "sky" of glittering lights.

Vienna in The Rain

We had some rainy days this past week. The bad weather didn't prevent people from going for an afternoon walk last Sunday. The street in this photo is Kohlmarkt in the city center, where you can find a lot of luxury shops. The building at the end of the street is the Imperial Palace.

2013 Christmas Illuminations #1

During the Advent and Christmas season a lot of Viennese streets are decorated with illuminations. This photo shows the lights on Kohlmarkt in the city center. If you have a lot of money to spend, Kohlmarkt is the perfect place for you: it´s the home of some of Vienna's most expensive shops.

Yellow Tulips

It´s currently difficult to find signs of spring in Vienna. On Easter Sunday only these yellow tulips of the advertisement of a jewelry store added a springlike touch to the city.

More Yellow

More yellow can be found in the window of the Louis Vuitton shop on Kohlmarkt. I love the shoes and the shirt made of paper. Look at these beautiful collars!
