Private view
Here´s a glimpse of yesterday´s private view of the Michel Comte exhibition in a photo gallery in the city center. The gallery was really crowded, amongst the guests there has been of course a number of local celebrities.

New exhibition in town
Tonight the first extensive exhibition in Austria of Swiss fashion and celebrity photographer Michel Comte will be inaugurated in a rather new photo gallery in the first district. And I will be there! I´m very much looking forward to this event!

The Café Central in Palais Ferstel was opened in 1876 and soon became the meeting point of academics and artists (Sigmund Freud, Arthur Schnitzler, Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Peter Altenberg,...)

Minorite Church
The foundation stone of Minorite Church (or Greyfriars Church) was laid in 1276. The whole building follows the pattern of French Cathedral architecture - it was one of the first Gothic churches in the east-Austrian area.
