No Restrictions for Them

Lucky seagulls! They still can gather and continue their normal life. We are allowed to go for a walk, but only in urgent cases (what does this mean?) and alone or with our housemate(s) and with a distance of at least 1m to other individuals... The modern building you see in this photo is the Millenniumtower and the small mountain in the background is Leopoldsberg, normally a popular destination for walks.

Along the Banks of the Danube

The Millenniumtower was completed ten years ago for the coming of the third millennium. Time is really flying! The mountains in the distance are Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg, popular local recreation areas.

Never Getting Tired of This View

Standing in front of the Upper Belvedere you can see the spire of St. Stephen's Cathedral in the city center but also Leopoldsberg and Kahlenberg in the norhtern outskirts.

Here's a view of my Sunday afternoon walk: the old building at the end of the garden is the Lower Belvedere, on the left side you can see St. Stephen's Cathedral and in the background Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg.

Leopoldsberg

Leopoldsberg (425 m) is part of the Wienerwald (Vienna Woods) and a popular destination for a sunday afternoon walk. The construction of the church on top of Leopoldsberg started in 1679 and was finished in 1730.

Yes, this is Vienna! The Kahlenberg (484m) and the Leopoldsberg (425m) are located in the 19th district and part of the Wienerwald (Vienna Woods), a low, wooded section of the Alps in eastern Lower Austria and Vienna. These two mountains are very popular places of Sunday excursions for the Viennese.
