Mozart And Tourists

The monument to Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) in Burggarten is one of Vienna's most photographed sights. It was accomplished by Austrian sculptor Viktor Tilgner and erected in 1896, originally on Albertinaplatz, but transferred to Burggarten in 1953. As you can see there are currently a lot of tourists in Vienna.

  1. It's a beautiful city to visit... and an impressive monument to the great magician.

  2. He as a great musician and composer so it is no wonder that the sculpture is a popular spot!
