Demel Shop #1

The shop of the famous K.u.K. (Imperial and Royal) Court Confectionary Bakery Demel (founded in 1786) in the city center is set up in the historic salons on the ground floor. You can find here a wide range of sweet products that have been poured, filled and formed by hand for over 200 years. If you go there, be sure that you have enough money in your purse... You can check the prices by clicking here.

  1. I am looking forward to checking out the goodies in the Demel Shop as I will be in Vienna from the 9th December to the 15th. First stop though will be Cafe Central! So unless we are snow bound on the morning of the 10th it will be straight off the D tram and then for morning coffee, and of course one of their delicious cakes

  2. Although I'm a great fan of Sachertorte (I order 2 or 3 every year online), Demel is by far my favorite Viennese pastry shop!
