Thanks to Tourzentrale Wien which offered a bicycle tour through the 2nd district yesterday evening, I learned a lot about my neighbourhood although I have been living here for more than 20 years. Amongst other things I discovered these rails on the area of the former Nordbahnhof (North Railway Station). Sooner or later they will disappear as the whole area will by covered by apartment buildings.
If you want to watch the current Tour de France in company, Tourzentrale Wien is the place for you. It´s located on Vorgartenmarkt in the 2nd district and is run by young and very committed people.
